A Level Physics Students Delve into Underground Tunnels at Fulneck School.

A level Physics students from Fulneck School, Allerton High School and Greenhead College in Huddersfield, teamed up with professors, lecturers, post graduates from Leeds University using specialist equipment worth more then £200,000, including radars and gravimeters, as part of a special exploration day, exploring the network of deserted tunnels that lie under the historic Fulneck School building, which dates back to 1753.

The tunnels provide the perfect location for geophysical investigation, using techniques such as radar, seismics, magnetics and gravity.

The school lies within Fulneck, nr Pudsey, Britain’s largest Moravian settlement. Read the full report in the Yorkshire Evening Post on 6th November.
