Inclusion (EAL, BME, GRT)
A key function of the 0-19 Learning Improvement service is to provide ethnically, culturally, socioeconomically and linguistically relevant advice, challenge and support to schools and settings. Services offered support nurseries, primary, secondary schools, SILCs and other organisations and teams to improve their provision for a wide range of learners: vulnerable English as an Additional Language, Black and Minority Ethnic including Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller learners (EAL, BME, GRT). The team consists of experienced advisers, consultants and practitioners with a strong track record of school improvement and an understanding of the local context. The traded offer is available to any school/setting within and beyond Leeds in addition to the core DSG offer for Leeds maintained schools.
