Leeds Museums and Galleries - Primary School Membership Resources Page
Evidence shows that cross-curricular object based arts and cultural learning improves attainment and cognitive abilities in primary school aged pupils (Culture and Sport Evidence Programme, July 2010, pp.26-8). Which is why, at Leeds Museums and Galleries (LMG), we are introducing a Primary School Membership Scheme, giving you all the support you need to provide top quality cultural learning and experiences to all of your pupils. This has been developed alongside the Leeds Curriculum, a cohesive place-based cultural heritage offer developed in consultation with teachers, which will be hosted on MyLearning.org from September 2018 onwards. Members can access curriculum linked loan boxes, curated from our 1.3 million objects, workshops across all 9 sites, and a whole raft of supporting resources, CPD, and opportunities for your pupils.
